Smashing darling at the Met Gala

Since 1995, Anna WintourVogue editor-in-chief and chair of the event has been creating glamour for one night spearheading various themes.  Vogue pulled together some of the season's most incredible ball gowns to be shot on the streets of Manhattan by photographer, Cass Bird. The result surely stopped traffic. For a look at the entire shoot visit Vogue.Com

The shots are certainty too fabulous not to share, we encourage you to take a sophisticated look on a whistle-stop tour of Manhattan.
