Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2015 RTW Collection was exquisite! Attended by good friend and Jendarling marketing consultant Shannon, we were in oooh's and awe's back home in California from catching her updates as well as the buzz on Instagram. What I wouldn't give to wear the lilac and pink gown w/ what appears to be a cheetah meets floral print. Wouldn't a matching garment bag just be utterly divine?
A group of evening gowns closed the show, and to the undiscerning eye, they were typical Monique—lots of intricate beading, flower petals, and sequins. The surprise was what laid underneath each A-line skirt was a rainbow of sherbet-colored tulle layers, which created the same multidimensional effect as an island sunrise. It was those details that made this one of Lhuillier's more memorable collections.
Monique's Inspiration stemmed from a recent trip to Harbour Island in the Bahamas. Wanting to instill that sparkle in every piece she did exactly that with a touch of fairy dust.
